Samyoung Machinery (CEO: Deokho Yoo), which maintains partnerships with global companies such as BITZER of Germany, LU-VE of Italy, and FU SHENG of Taiwan, has accumulated proprietary technologies and expertise over more than 40 years since its establishment in 1977.
Based on this foundation, the company has secured outstanding product reliability and high-efficiency energy-saving technologies in fields including refrigeration and cold storage, general HVAC systems, and industrial plants, while also focusing on the development of next-generation technologies.
To respond to rapidly changing market trends, Samyoung has recently been expanding its R&D infrastructure and establishing advanced production lines to actively develop high-efficiency, eco-friendly refrigeration systems and new inverter-applied products.
In particular, the company provides a variety of compressor-optimized energy-saving solutions from BITZER, including inverter-integrated compressors (VARISPEED), external inverter systems (VARIPACK), inverter-integrated condensing units (ECOSTAR), and IQ MODULE solutions.
In addition, through a licensing agreement with the globally recognized coil manufacturer LU-VE Group, Samyoung continues to invest in the development of high-efficiency heat exchangers.
The company manufactures a wide range of products, including condensing units optimized for food processing, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, supermarkets, refrigeration and cold storage, low-temperature facilities, and air-conditioning applications, as well as unit coolers, screw chillers, heat pumps, HVAC coils, condensers, and evaporators.
Its medium- and large-scale industrial screw chillers (50–350RT), low-temperature screw chillers (30–200RT), and two-stage screw units are particularly recognized for their differentiated competitiveness compared to competitors. In addition to product manufacturing, the company is strengthening its product lineup to meet diverse customer needs through high-value engineering design services.
A representative of Samyoung stated, “Our core markets, including refrigeration, cold storage, HVAC units, and coolers, have continued to grow and evolve over the years. However, recently the market environment has become increasingly uncertain due to economic downturns and excessive competition.”
The representative added, “Although environmental regulations and energy-efficiency standards are being implemented worldwide and companies are striving to develop eco-friendly, high-efficiency products, the domestic market still appears relatively conservative toward change.”
The representative further explained that the company plans to actively expand into higher value-added markets through the development of high-efficiency products.
Showcasing Energy-Saving Solutions
To provide various energy-saving solutions through high-efficiency and environmentally friendly products, Samyoung exhibited:
- High-performance new unit coolers equipped with ebm-papst fan motors
- Refrigeration, cold storage, and HVAC units utilizing BITZER reciprocating and screw compressors
- BITZER inverter and CM-RC-01 IQ MODULE products
- FU SHENG two-stage screw units
- Danfoss compressors
A company representative stated, “Through the launch of various new products at this exhibition, including the BITZER VARIPACK inverter, IQ MODULE, and high-performance new unit coolers, we expect to further expand into the high-efficiency and high-value-added market.”
The representative emphasized, “We plan to secure greater productivity and competitiveness through continuous investment in automation facilities, while strengthening technological cooperation with our global partners to actively develop new products that will lead not only the domestic market but also overseas markets.”
